Frank Niepold is a climate education coordinator for the NOAA Climate Program Office and leads the development of climate literacy for NOAA. 

Frank explains that in order for this project to take off, many entities had to be involved, which resulted in the creation of the CLEAN Network, of which 54 professional societies are members.

This is an education project that works to create easy access to climate materials and Frank expresses that if he “can help other teachers be successful… in addressing climate change for society that’s why [he] keeps going.”
