Tim Gallegos of GAF Roofing’s StreetBond made the decision to expand his knowledge of sustainable design by earning his LEED Green Associate credential. He explains, “if we make a good example of ourselves, we have to start here at the building industry to recognize how we can make it a better place for all of us.” 

The heart of the green building community’s efforts must go well beyond construction and efficiency, and the materials that make up our buildings. We must dig deeper and focus on what matters most within those buildings: human beings. Living Standard works to connect green buildings and LEED, and connect our products to people. Through this campaign, we aim to listen to our communities, share their stories, and build a vision for a more sustainable future for all by making visible the tangible and positive impacts that green buildings and green communities have on our lives.
