“Climate change is something that affects people.” Seno Tsuhah knows this firsthand. Through the North East Network (NEN), based in the Chizami village in Nagaland, India, she works toward improving the quality of life of local women by generating employment in the region, which is mostly cut off from the cities, by weaving traditional textiles and organic farming. The community relies heavily on agrobiodiversity, so climate change can directly impact their quality of life.
