Rami Vagal is the Senior Sustainability Officer at Mohawk Industries, and became a part of the team due to Mohawk’s early adoption of transparency practices at a large scale—practices that followed the example of LEED. 

Rami explains how the VP of Sustainability at Mohawk Industries, George Bandy, Jr., encourages those in his network to bring humanity back to society and conversations. She adds how he has inspired her to make the employees of Mohawk feel connected, which she argues is a part of the much larger projects that they are involved in.

Rami leaves us with the wisdom that “It’s not just about the numbers or the values, it’s about the everyday actions that people can incorporate into their everyday lifestyle.”
