While MGM Healthcare‘s contributions to green building are impressive, green building is only one piece (albeit a very critical one) of the pandemic puzzle. What is happening right now in India requires a change and a commitment to valuing human life through science, data and compassion in every sector across the board. Together, we must ensure that a health care system never again collapses when its people need it the most.   

Southeast Asia’s largest newly constructed LEED Platinum certified healthcare facility, MGM Healthcare in Chennai, is also putting in the work to keep staff and patients as healthy as possible during this unimaginable time. 

The hospital deployed a number of strategies to achieve their certification, including ambient, high efficiency lighting and water consumption.
